Technology and Safety
Anyone in Canyon who appreciates technology will be happy with what the Forte offers in this department. It comes standard with an eight-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth. Starting with the GT-Line, the Forte gets to have a 10.25-inch touchscreen that comes with navigation, voice recognition, SiriusXM Traffic, and Kia Connect. These trims have six speakers instead of the standard configuration of four speakers, and they can be upgraded with eight Harman Kardon speakers. They also have two front USB ports and could have an additional one in the back, along with wireless charging.
As you travel around the Texas Panhandle, you'll want to stay out of harm's way. Thanks to several driver-assist technologies, the Kia Forte can help you in this regard. All Forte trims feature lane following assist, driver attention warning, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection. Many trims also have blind-spot collision-avoidance assistance, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, and a safe exit warning. It's standard to have a rearview monitor with dynamic parking guidance, and smart cruise control is available.
